Dr. Mattoon completed her residency at IUH Ball Memorial Family Medicine Residency in Muncie, IN in 2021 with distinctions in behavioral and maternal-child health. She graduated with her medical degree from KU School of Medicine Wichita in 2018. Previous education includes a Master of Science in Counseling and Student Development and her Bachelor of Science in Anthropology, both from Kansas State University.
Dr. Mattoon enjoys practicing the broad scope of family medicine and treating patients of every age and background. She has special interests in women’s health and behavioral health.
Dr. Mattoon enjoys watching K-State sports. She also enjoys reading, gardening, and collecting uranium glass and other vintage art glass. She is a fiercely competitive trivia player.
Dr. Mattoon grew up outside of Dwight, KS after her father was stationed at Ft Riley in 1993. She met her high school sweetheart and now husband of nearly 20 years, Cody, on the Council Grove High scholars’ bowl team. Together they have a son, Callum, and a black lab named Ix.
